Persatuan Warisan Sarawak KL telah dipelawa untuk memperkenalkan kepelbagaian jenis beras yang terdapat di Bumi Kenyalang, hasil keringat rakyatnya yang berbilang kaum. Antara beras yang ditonjolkan adalah beras Bario, beras merah dan beras perang. 'Demo' menyediakan nasi bungkus daun juga diselitkan dalam ruangan Wanita Hari Ini selama sepuluh minit ini. Juga di perkenalkan adalah sajian tradisi masyarakat Sarawak iaitu 'manok pansoh' (ayam dimasak dalam buluh), 'umai' (isi ikan diperap dalam air limau, bawang dan cili) serta 'ulat mulong' (ulat sagu), semuanya digemari oleh masyarakat berbilang kaum di Sarawak.

Association of Sarawakians in KL organises Hornbill Festival

 KUCHING: Persatuan Warisan Sarawak, an association formed by a group of Sarawakians living and working in Kuala Lumpur, will be promoting the State’s many cultures and traditions in a grand event to be held in the heart of the nation’s capital this July.

Titled the ‘Hornbill Festival 2008’, the event will also be the best way to promote the association which submitted its application to Registrar of Societies in August last year.
